The first day of January, Two thousand and eleven

January 1, 2011....
Today begins the journey back to a better me. I can't stand how I feel and look...so off with at least 100 pounds in 2011. This is change I have to believe in!
I know I won't follow a "diet" created by someone else so I am designing my own gastronomy plan. Here are my initial thoughts:

  • 11,100 total calories a week. Each day will be a different total number of calories consumed so my metabolism will not think it is being starved.
  • 5 -6 small meals a day to stave off hunger and mindless eating of bad stuff.
  • Keep a daily food diary, calorie count and weigh in.
  • Walk 2 to 3 times a week to begin.
  • Find, create and cook low calorie, high taste meals.
